There are online courses designed for kids and teach the kids to code. The kids learn coding, mathematics and logic in the courses. There are coding courses available for kids aged 6 - 18. In the courses, the kids are taught using many projects.  

The kids learn to code for every project and at the end of the course, the kids have to do an independent project. The coding projects for kids are simple yet challenging. The courseware is project-based and the kids get to learn about real-world applications.

There are different courses for kids from different age groups. The courses are customized as per age and the kids should enroll in the online courses as per their age group. The kids from ages 6 - 9 are taught visual-based coding languages and the kids aged 10 - 18 are taught text-based coding languages.

Projects covered in the online courses

For kids aged 6 - 9, the projects offered are done using Scratch coding language. The kids learn through projects like drawing and animating sprites, creating a dialogue between two characters, creating stories with music and interactions and more.

The kids use coding concepts while doing these projects. The kids have to create their own code using Scratch for each project and the kids learn by doing. Some of the coding projects for kids are building games, animating stories, quizzes and more. 

For kids aged 10 -18, some of the projects are building a Minecraft-like world and inviting friends to play, self-driving car systems which detect lights/cars/people on the road, building intelligent chatbots, building mobile apps and websites and more.

Some of the independent projects done by the kids are building a mask detector using artificial intelligence, different types of chatbots, platformer games, 3D projects and more. The kids can put their projects online.

What is taught in the courses?

The kids are taught the fundamentals of coding and the kids are taught using examples in games, animation, storytelling, maths problem-solving and more. They are taught logical coding and they learn to write simple codes. They use all the coding concepts when they build something.
